This website is an intended information point around alternate currency.

Yes just a note to say we'll be posting content from now on. Interesting stories, viewpoints, articles and possibly one or two rants. I'd like this to be an information source for anyone who is wondering exactly why the world is in such an abismal state at the moment and interested in ways to fix it.

I'm very new at this and hope to become more coherent as this site progresses, for now I hope the collation of articles on and around the subject with help paint a picture on a very blank canvas.

I do believe that humans are by nature altruistic when they are comfortable and predatory when threatened. The altruism of humans towards each other is currently way way outgunned by a world system that has NOT taken into account limited world resources.

This WILL change because it has to. But if we don't act collectively for ourselves, the change will hurt and marginalize a HUGE number of people in the world.

Shmoney and other alternative systems are the way that we ease this transition, through education, participation and iteration. It's going to be a fun ride.
